Culture is a matrix whose elements - art,
language, literature, religion, history, politics, economy, geography, customs and traditions, etc. - reflect the multi-faceted complexity of its nature. Focusing on only one aspect without evoking the others limits our understanding of the whole.

In April an exhibition of Ukrainian art took place in Munich under the title "Approchement. Kyiv-Munich.Part II." The participating artists and their curator Yuri Krulikovsky, director of the Kyiv Arts Support Fund, came at the invitation of their German colleagues whose works were exhibited in Ukraine the previous year.
